Spring fishstravaganza

All,

Unless you're one of the Summit County locals that needs to participate in the cliche of dressing up in 80's clothing, slamming PBR's, and skiing slush every weekend at A Basin, now is the time to dig out those 9' sticks out of the closet and waive them around in a local Colorado river.  Yea the weather isn't going to be cold but you will get wet and your girlfriend will not want to join you in your fishing expeditions this time of year (which is a positive thing for some of you) but this is one of the best times of the year to get out on the water.  You're finally going to be able to throw away the reading glasses and enjoy some larger Stone fly and Nymph fishing on the Colorado and the Blue.  I can honestly say that I am sick of hearing "Mothers Day Caddis hatch on the Ark!" but there is a reason you hear this every year, and it's because you will see Caddis swarming like like teenage girls around the Jonas Brothers tour bus. If you have never participated in this religious experience I highly suggest taking part.  I guess what I am trying to say is get out and fish for some Trouts, there ain't much else to do this time of year. The bars are slow or closed, to muddy to bike, the rec league softball seasons don't start for a couple more weeks, and everyone needs to get rid of those ridiculous goggle tans.
